The institution Assumption Public School was established in 1992, order to impart Sound and appropriate education to the Students with a View to Preserve and foster in them their distinct religion, Language, Script and the culture but the same time admission was granted to other Students without distinction of colour, caste and creed who desired to take advantage of education imparted in the institution.

The School is situated in one of the most healthy spots of Barhalganj in quite clean and safe locality away from the hustle of the city. Therefore it is an ideal institution for parents/guardians to send their children so that they may be kept in healthy surrounding.

English is the medium of the teaching, it is taught in each class, so that the students on leaving the school may find easy to join any other English medium institution.

The institution has a high qualified and efficient staff, and the curriculum includes; Moral instruction, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science, History, Civics, Geography, Art and Craft, Singing and Physical Training.

Besides offering Such Academic, Scholastic and educational advantage, Assumption Public School aims at the formation and all around development of each Students fit for their personal and specific call in life. Music, dance, concerts variety programme, competition etc. keep the students physically and mentally alert and well abreast of progressing times.

You are welcome to Assumption Public School for the Bright future of your children. Our mission is to serve nation and society by enlightening and enriching education and learning environment. This school is mile stone of English medium education in southern rural area of Gorakhpur and well trusted for better teaching, care and development of our pupils. School has a well modified computer lab with trained computer teachers where 40 students can do their practical at a time. Audio-visual classes for lower class, trained teachers to take care of young pupils. Extra care for personality development, as Science Exhibition craft Exhibition, Games, Outdoor and Indoor Academic Tours, Diverting classes held time to time. The management and teaching staff is fully devoted. My blessings are for all of you. Grow higher and Higher.

My dear devoted parents, most co-operative students, staff and well wishers. I acknowledge and thank all of you supporting the growth and establishment of Assumption Public School. In very previous years primary and junior secondary education was treated as study by state phenomenon. The past has been left behind with result of marathon 60 years experiences, we produce a mass of literate but very poorly educated who cannot compete, they cannot contribute country development. Not able in fight with poverty, unemployment. Academic picture will be improved when we pay equal attention towards growth of our pupil in every aspect. I am very satisfied that our students are getting seats in most of renounce school all over country after taking education at our school. My best wishes to students and colleague.
